PP = People pictures

Does anyone agrees with me that people plays a very big part in our lives. Everyday we meet people, some of whom we like, and maybe some who don't. As for me, I too have met a lot of people, some whom have hurt me or helped me, some whom I have hurt or helped too. Also, I have been privileged to meet some of the best people in my life until today! So, today, I will be showing people pictures which I took before. there's so many of them and I can't possibly show them all. I picked out a few. Hope you guys like it!

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Description: I was taking picture of a church, and this couple happened to come by to take their wedding photo at the venue. The picture was originally bigger, I decided to crop and blur the sides, keeping the focus on them itself. This moment belongs to them alone. haha!

Location: Melbourne, Australia
Description: One of my favourite picture! This photo was done using my friend's (Brendan)camera. His camera has got a default function which can take this kind of picture. The cute little girl's cheerful expression just add colours into the picture. Ha!

Location: Floating platform, Singapore
Description: I took this picture during the national day parade. I like how the red colour is so vibrant, afterall it represents us right. Haha! One can never go wrong with pictures of children. They are just so beautiful!

Location: Melbourne, Australia
Description: There is nothing like... ...a display of Skill at the heart of Victoria!

Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia
Description: I have seen a lot of people who took this kind of shadow picture and it turns out pretty amazing. This is one which I took myself which I like it as well. The evening sun has pretty much helped to make the colour so golden, of course with a bit of tweaks with photoshop, minimal editing though! ha!

Photographs taken and edited by a "not so" well-known amateur photographer by the name of Andy Quek, ME!

To anyone who is still hanging on to this blog, hope you like the pictures!

More to come in the future. :)

Anyway, feedbacks and criticisms are most welcomed. Cheers!

Honesty

Hmmm, what would be a good way to discuss about the topic of honesty? I’m not too honest a person myself, so I guess I don’t have much to tell. Hahaha!

However, I came across a movie recently which I want to introduce to anyone who drops by! It’s an old movie by the name, Big Fat Liar(2002)

Summary: A boy goes all to earn back the trust of his dad. Go watch the show! A movie tells a thousand words, this is a simple movie which put across the message I want to talk about in this post, honesty.

Lesson learnt: Honesty, a value which so many people have already overlooked today. In a society where paychecks and qualifications are looked at to define a person’s success, simple values like honesty have often been disregarded.

Personal opinion: It is indeed a competitive world out there! But never forget our values. Be honest to others, and be honest to yourself. History has proven, the truth will always catch up with all the lies.

Favourite quote: The truth is never overrated.

That's all folks! Take care!

2nd round!

Oh yeah! The iPhone blogging works! Too bad there isn't any picture uploading function, otherwise life would be so much easier. I'm sooo happy that my blog is getting nicer with more and more pictures in it! Hahaha!

Location: Suntec city, Singapore
Description: First picture I decided to upload. Not too sure if this is a wise choice, but somehow I like this blurry picture. Not too sure what I'm thinking when I'm taking this picture too. Ha!

Location: Kusu island, Singapore
Description: I decided to show off this most amazing joker in the world, Ian Yang & his fishing rod. I made the sides blurry in order to make sure all the focus is on him. Cool huh... haha!

Location: Halong Bay, Vietnam
Description: I love taking sunset pictures! I like how the lines of the sun rays in this picture is being defined out, and the colour of the water is golden! I tried to make the water a bit more golden, but I guess this is the best I can do. Haha!

Location: Melbourne, Australia
Description: A different feel of another sunset scene from a different part of the world. I managed to catch this picture just before the sun went down. The shape of the clouds is so unique, a lucky shot!

Location: Melbourne, Australia
Better known as: The Twelve Apostles
Description: A must-see when anyone visit Melbourne. I added more contrast to the picture so theat the waves can be seen clearly. I like how the whites are so white and the blues are so blue. Haha! What am I saying, I meant that the colours are so defined. A disappearing view as the limestones are slowly eroding through the years.

Feast for the eyes

Heyaaa~~ Anyone still visitng this place?? Hahahhaa... No echo.. alrighty.. Im not surprised, afterall it has been a while since I updated the blog (duhh... ...as usual... )

Why? Cos I'm soooo lazy to write... And for someone who is soooo lazy to write, what else is there I can do?

I was thinking, and finally I found the answer! A few minutes of apllication downloading with my iPhone, a few pictures from all the the many photos I took throughout the years, and here I have to present only here and no where else...

My Personal Online Photo Gallery (Exclusive!)

Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia
Name of Temple: Ta Prohm
Description: The amazing temple where the movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider was made. I like the whole feel where there is a bit of errie-ness, it also feels as though the temple is below ground level as the top is bright and that light doesn't really comes down into the temple below.

Location: Sydney City, Australia
Description: It's a sunny afternoon on the streets of Sydney, I think so. I can't remember cos this was taken quite a while ago. I like how the lines and the colours all so distinct. A colourful picture, seems like a really great day!

Location: Near Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, Singapore
Description: Photo of my favourite bike which I used to own, a KTM 200. I decided to emphasies on the colour that symbolises KTM, the colour which says - Ready To Race!

Location: Sydney, Australia
Description: I love how a simple crop feature can create a pranomic feel, with a little saturation to bring out the colours, giving the whole scenery a "painting-like" picture.

Location: Hong Lim Food Centre, Singapore
Description: This was taken while waiting for my colleague to buy some food for the both of us. This kind of old-market style food centres which offers really great food is slowly phasing out from our Singapore island, replaced by the modern air-conditioned foodcourts which serves food with that "standardised taste". I am sooo gonna miss these food centres when there is none anymore in future...
