A closer look in everything (More pictures!)

Inspired by an artwork I came across in Hong Kong recently. It was a reflective dew drop sculpture trying to put across this message - Nature is around us. Yet often we look but do not see. Next time you see the morning dew, take a look at just one small dew drop. See your surroundings reflected there. Look closely and you will see a reflection of yourself. So whynot pause and try to look at ourselves, objects and people around us from a fresh perspective?

Indeed, when we often just take a closer look at things, from a fresh perspective without any bias, we see a whole new light instead.

So, take a closer look in things around you. There's always something good in life. Like my pictures! Hahaha!

Location: Ang Mo Kio,Singapore
Description: No more chilli crab. Salted egg crab is great! And the gravy goes especially well when mixed with rice or mantou! Hahaha!

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Description: A good 7-Up drink should be drank from a bottle! Hahaha! The old fashioned way.. yeahh! Edited using a Iphone application, creating a lomography effect.

Location: Shanghai, China
Description: This picture was taken at the airport in Shanghai. Decided to experiment on this new technique. It's very easy to do it. Slow down the shutter speed, then zoom out/in right after you press the shutter button. Haha!

Location: Shanghai, China
Description: Watch out small kids crossing the road in the school zone!

Location: Hong Kong
Description: No waiting, for taxi only! I cropped away the rest of the pictures, focusing only on this one particular spot. I like how I have made something so unoticeable in the busy streets of Hong Kong stands out, giving it an exclusive feel. Hahaha!

That's all for pictures I guess. Photographs taken and edited by a "not so" well-known amateur photographer by the name of Andy Quek, ME!

To anyone who is still hanging on to this blog, hope you like the pictures!

More to come in the future. :)

Anyway, feedbacks and criticisms are most welcomed. Cheers!:)
